Life Verse:
1 John 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God, and that is what we are
Personal Mission Statement:
Love God with all of my heart, be loved by God, show others God’s love, in order that they might do the same.
Spiritual Formation:
Kelli grew up in a Wesleyan Church in New Albany, IN where her greatest role model was her pastor and grandfather, Jack Baumgartle. From a young age, she knew that when she grew up she wanted to be like her grandpa: she wanted to be a pastor. After being saved in an Easter service when she was seven, she gave her life to follow God in full time ministry at a camp meeting when she was twelve. Since then, God has shaped and formed her life in many ways: softening her heart, strengthening her willpower, and teaching her to be a servant. She graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministries and concentrated studies in Intercultural Studies and Biblical Literature. A few months after graduating, God opened doors for her to minister at Forest Hills Wesleyan Church as the Youth Pastor. There she continues to learn about ministry, discipleship, leadership, and flexibility as she works with a group of youth that she considers to be “the best you can get, hands down!”
